I have to admit to being a bit of a weather fanatic. I know there are a lot of people out there these days who profess to being “weather buffs”, but really all I want to know is what to expect from ol’ mother nature on a hourly basis (hey, I got stranded in the Blizzard of ’78, don’t judge.)
I come from a long lineage of weather ‘frantics’ (namely my Dad), who when there is any sign of bad weather on the horizon, will watch the weather channel non-stop and at the same time keep his weather ban radio blaring from the kitchen. I one-up him and have a ban radio in my vehicle. Which begs the question I just have to ask. Who records these weather forecasts anyway? I listen to the people out of Montauk and then when I’m in RI. Are they like the same person? And please don’t ever expect to get any website that contacts back slashes.
