From famed news anchor & friend Chuck Scarborough to the “Original Mad Man George Lois” the support for the Greenwich Historical Society’s opening night of Antiquarius was as successful as it was fun. I was thrilled to raise awareness for the event and co-host the Antiquarius After Party with my Greenwich Young Collector’s co-chair, Jen Danzi. It was “Mad” good time thanks to all our sponsors and friends who came out in their best Don Draper Duds to keep with our Mad Men theme.

The Young Collector’s Antiquarius After Party brought out a full house to Ron Rosa’s Louie’s on River Road. Ron Rosa graciously donated the space, food and “Don Draper Drinks” to create a Mad Men themed party that brought the 1960s Ad Age back to life.
The Antiquarius After-Party followed opening night at the Old Greenwich Civic Center. Antiquarius and the season full of events is the Greenwich Historical Society’s biggest fundraising drive of the year.
With the help of volunteers, like Annie Boardman, we raised awareness of the wonderful cause. Keeping to the Mad Men theme, Annie took RSVPs on a vintage typewriter.
A guest who needed no RSVP or introduction, Chuck & Ellen Scarborough, along with my Dad.
We gave Chuck the night off from the camera and put Bonnie Levinson in front of the lens.
Warren Tricomi Salon stylists had “Mad” Skills. For men they created slick backs and for the ladies high-hair and bee-hives.

The Original Mad Man, George Lois, donated a signed book. To add to the ambiance, season two of the ad agency activity planned on high definition flat screens. George Lois was one of many who helped add flare to the night.
AMC TV was among our sponsors offering hats, posters, games, snow globes, pens, etc.
DJ Christopher Ford got the crowd moving.
