If you haven’t cruised over to The Hamblogger yet, you should give it a once-over. A couple of dedicated photojournalists from California started the site a while back and have expanded with correspondents around the country, myself included.
My newest post is about Moe’s Burger Joint in the O.G., a new counter service restaurant from the owner of a group of more upscale eateries like Pacifico in New Haven and Sonora in PoCho.

There’s also a Moe’s opening up in the Arcade on Main Street in Bridgeport. That bomber burger looks crazy-good…just what my waistline needs, and only a block away from my apartment! Can’t wait to try Moe’s!!!
I’ve eaten there a few times, it was a huge mistake not calling my order in ahead of time on my first trip as I wasted almost half an hour waiting for my burger, but I enjoyed a milkshake as I waited. The burger was excellent, but as mentioned in the review the fries could use some improvement. They just aren’t that great and if your putting out a decent burger you should put out some better fries with it. Overall a good place, I’ll be going back, especially once they fix the kinks.
I’m trying to leave room for improvement!
