Who wants free ice cream?

Baskin Robbins stores throughout the New York Metro area (which includes Fairfield County, according to the ice cream giant) are offering free ice cream now through September. Check out the deets they just sent over:

CANTON, Mass.  (May 12, 2014) Baskin-Robbins, the world’s largest chain of ice cream specialty shops, is kicking off the ice cream season with a weekly Buy One Get One Free Sundae offer at participating Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin-Robbins combination  and Baskin-Robbins shops in the Metro New York area*. Every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday through the end of September, guests who purchase any sundae will receive another sundae of equal or lesser value for free.

Guests can create their own sundae by choosing from Baskin-Robbins’ wide variety of ice cream flavors, including classics like Mint Chocolate Chip, Very Berry Strawberry, Pralines ‘n Cream and Jamoca® Almond Fudge, as well as more recent favorites like the May Flavor of the Month, Mom’s Makin’ Cookies.

“We’re thanking our guests and welcoming the ice cream season with a great offer that allows ice cream lovers to have double the fun with one of America’s favorite treats – the ice cream sundae,” said Cathy Chavenet, Senior Field Marketing Manager, Metro New York. “With our Buy One Get One Free Sundae offer, guests can enjoy a customizable ice cream sundae and share a second one with their friends and family.”
