Qdoba Mexican Grill, a restaurant chain with three locations in Connecticut, will be opening its fourth in Westport on Monday, August 25.
In anticipation of the opening, the Qdoba Westport team volunteered at Homes for Hope on Monday, August 18 (pictured above). The team served food and helped in the pantry section preparing food for the community, according to publicist Amanda Kelley.
And on Tuesday, August 19, local bloggers were invited to learn how to make Qdoba’s hand smashed guacamole and pico de gallo (pictured above).
To celebrate the grand opening on Monday, Qdoba will be donating all of the night’s proceeds to the ALS Association Connecticut Chapter, which helps people living with Lou Gehrig’s Disease. According to a press release from the restaurant, customers will be able to pick their price on menu items during the event being called “Pay What You Want.”
The specials will continue throughout the week. On Tuesday, August 26, customers will receive free chips and queso with the purchase of an entree at any of the four Connecticut locations.
On Saturday, September 6, local musician James Zapp will be performing and guests can also get their caricatures drawn and take photos in a photo booth.
Qdoba Westport will be located at 275 Post Road East.
