Even though the summer is drawing closer to its end, it’s extremely important to keep a few safety issues in mind. When you get a chance, I suggest that you check out the Health and Social Services section of the City of Stamford’s website to learn more about issues like the West Nile Virus, sun safety and extreme heat.
There’s also a link to a website that provides information about Recreational Water Illness and how that can be prevented. Many of the information sheets come in both English and Spanish. Take a look and share the information with your friends and family so that we can all end the summer on a safe and healthy note!






Mayor MALLOY why dont you come down and see our sidewalks and Streets on HILLANDALE Ave AND UNDERHILL ST .This is where SHS and HILLANDALE SCHOOL CHILDREN walk to go to school WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO ABOUT IT ? BAD SIDEWALKS AND BAD STREETS PAVEMENT.

I have to say both articles were worth the read. I would hope parents and residents alike would take advantage of the literature provide in the PDF from HSS as well as the CDC recommendations.

MY e mail this morning is missing ,what happen the same complaint the sidewalk of HILLANDALE ave and UNDERHILL st are sinking the streets are the same.WE have two Schools SHS and HILLANDALE SCHOOL.These children are walking on UNSAFE SIDEWALKS,no SPEED LIMIT SIGN our streets are a race track tell me what are your solutions before you leave office Sir.
