Ok – now I’m obsessed with color.
Even this morning, I was drawn to my kelly green silk dress that I had worn just once all last year. For some reason when I topped it off with a thin, navy open weave cardigan, it felt like the perfect choice for the day…and the season. A black sweater or jacket looked too heavy while white or cream was way too stark. The color blocking of green and navy was a more subtle, stylish way to wear two tones.
Whether its a slight shade difference of a color or a more drastic combination from across the color wheel, this tonal trend is making a bold statement once again this season.
Remember, keep it simple – combine up to three colors maximum or you’ll look a bit too much like that color wheel : )
