Links’ Looks

I spent about 4 1/2 hours yesterday at Hudson Hills Golf Course where my son was playing in a junior tournament. Both boys and girls between the ages of 12-18 were seen swinging their irons at this well attended event.
Besides envying their low numbered scores as they completed their rounds, I was also eyeing their attire. Despite the brighter color palette amidst the crowd of kids, the styles have basically remained unchanged over the years.

The polo shirt, alias golf shirt, looks basically the same today as it did when Rene Lacoste, 7-time Grand Slam champion, designed the original in 1926.
One of these might be perfectly par for the course…
