The Connecticut NAACP 2012 State Convention will take place Saturday, Oct. 27 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Coco Key Resort and Convention Center, 3580 East Main St., Waterbury.
UCONN Athletic Director Warde Manuel will be the keynote speaker.
There will be a meet and greet with US Senatorial candidates Congressman Chris Murphy and Linda McMahon.
The convention will also include a business expo and workshops.
