Village Critter Outfitter is hosting a rabbit adoption event this Saturday afternoon.

Another pet adoption event is taking place at Village Critter Outfitter this weekend.

This time, the store, which is located at 107 Cherry St., is hosting an event geared to those looking to adopt a rabbit, a hamster or another small animal from a local rescue group.

The animals will come from Norwalk-based Hop-A-Long Hollow rescue organization, which has placed over 1,500 small animals in new homes.

The event will take place Saturday from 12 to 3 p.m.

“We welcome Hop-A-Long Hollow Animal Rescue for a chance to make a difference in a homeless pet’s life”, Shirleen Dubuque, owner of Village Critter Outfitter, said in a news release. “Fostering any of these rabbits or small animals is another way to provide food and shelter to these homeless small animals.”

For more information, visit villagecritteroutfitter.com or call the store at 203-972-7000.
