There will be a partial solar eclipse on the morning of Sunday, Nov. 3. The only view we’ll get of it will be at sunrise. The obvious message of course is: don’t look at the sun. You should have the proper equipment.
But at the same time, it’s neat to see a crescent sun: Here, it will be about half-shaded by the moon. You’ll have to go to Africa to see a full eclipse.
