Pastor to ABC News: Girl survived by playing dead

Pastor Jim Solomon, who was counseling parents of Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting victims and survivors, told ABC News that one girl survived the shooting by playing dead underneath her classmates’ bodies.

“She ran out of the school building covered in blood from head to toe and the first words she said to her mom when she got outside was, mommy, I’m okay, but all my friends are dead,” Solomon said.

The 6-year-old girl was not named.
