Governor Dannel P. Malloy and Lieutenant Governor Nancy Wyman today ordered state and U.S. flags to half-staff tomorrow to commemorate the 20 children and six adults last year at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown. The order is effective from dawn until sunset. Malloy has also asked churches to ring their bells 26 times at 9:30 to honor the dead; and for people to perform acts of kindness in honor of the dead.
