Happy Monday! Here’s a quick post to get the week started on a light note:
Denny’s doesn’t know it’s own Twitter handle. In fact, it hasn’t known it for months, as on its menus it has been encouraging people to follow some guy from Taiwan.
It kind of sucks, but it’s surprising that Denny’s doesn’t fix their menus. Of course, it’s a pricey mistake, but that’s why everyone should have access to a good copy editor (and I’m not just saying that because I am one).

I don’t know what’s worse, the misprint on the company’s part or the fact that even with Denny’s pointing all its customers to the guy in Taiwan, he still only has 127 followers according to the screen grab on Gizmodo. So, what does this say about people’s enthusiasm for the restaurant? Or better yet, does this say something about the target demographic of the Denny’s chain? Maybe the people who frequent Denny’s just aren’t that wired.

I’d venture to guess that the more tech-savvy of the bunch realized the mistake, if they followed him before checking, and unfollowed. People probably caught on quick when they got messages they couldn’t understand instead of coupons for the Grand Slam breakfast.
