Fabien Cousteau to speak at WCSU

Fabien Cousteau, grandson of famed oceanographer Jacques Cousteau and an expert deep sea explorer in his own right, will speak Thursday at Western Connecticut State University in Danbury on Thursday, Sept. 19

His lecture “one Ocean, One People” will take place at Ives Concert Hall at the university’s midtown campus, 181 White Street.

Tickets are $10 for the general public and $5 for WSCU faculty and staff. Students with ID will be admitted for free. For more information, call (203) 837-TIXX.

The lecture is being sponsored by WCSU’s  Jane Goodall Center for Excellence in Environmental Studies.l

There is a VIP reception before the lecture for anyone who would like to make a donation to Western’s Jane Goodall Center. Individual donations start at $50 and group or corporate donations start at $200. For more information, call (203) 837-8453.
