Two Danbury men charged with DUI in New York

Two Danbury residents face drunken driving charges as the result of traffic stops by New York State Police last week.
Daryn J. Perez, 25, was found to be intoxicated after he was stopped for speeding on Interstate 84 about 2 a.m., police said.
Perez was found to have a blood-alcohol level of .16 and was issued a summons to appear in Town of Southeast Court on November 12.
On Thursday, state police from the Dover barracks arrested Nicholas P. Cipolla, 31, in Pawling in response to a suspicious vehicle complaint.
Cipolla, who police said had a blood-alcohol level of .09, was stopped just before 3 a.m., police said. He was released on his own recognizance after an appearance in Town of Pawling Justice Court, police said.
