DANBURY - Police wanted Samuel Miller. They also got Audrey Taylor.

The arrest of the 45-year-old South Street man on a superior court warrant for violation of probation Tuesday also led to criminal charges against Taylor for narcotics possession, police said.

Shortly before 12:30 p.m., police spotted Miller driving in the Mill Ridge area.  Aware that Miller was a wanted man, they stopped the car, and as they approached, they observed the 42-year-old Taylor, who listed her address as “city streets,” attempting to conceal something in her purse.

A search yielded small quantities of crack cocaine and heroin, police said. She was charged with two count of possession of narcotics, and because the stop occurred within 1,500 feet of two schools and the Mill Ridge housing complex, three counts of narcotics possession in a prohibited area.

She is being held on $50,000 bond for an appearance in state Superior Court on Wednesday.

Miller’s bond was set at $100,000, and he is also due in court Wednesday.
