DANBURY — Two Danbury men were charged with drunken driving as the result of separate incidents on Wednesday and Tuesday, police said.
Just before 1 a.m. on Wednesday, officers stopped Jorge Lopez, 32, after he was seen driving his vehicle at a very slow speed on White Street. Lopez then made a very wide right turn into the opposite lane of traffic as he turned onto Fifth Avenue, police said.
In addition to drunken driving, Lopez was also cited for failure to drive right and driving without a license.
At 8:49 p.m. on Tuesday, police observed Cesar Minchala, 29, operating erratically on Balmforth Avenue and determined he was intoxicated.
He was also charged with driving without a license, failure to drive right, failure to drive in the proper lane and making an improper turn.
