Brewster woman drove drunk to barracks, state police say

SOUTHEAST, N.Y. — A woman who allegedly was intoxicated when she drove to the state police barracks in Brewster to pick up a family member Sunday night was arrested for drunken driving.

Cristy L. Tierney, 43, of Brewster, was found to have a blood-alcohol level of .16, twice the legal limit, when she arrived at the barracks about 8 p.m., police said.

Tierney was issued a summons to appear in Town of Southeast Justice Court on Dec. 12.
