Van Gogh’s Sermons in Paint at Bethel Library

Discover the life, art, and spirituality of Vincent van Gogh on Sunday February 2, 2-4 pm, at the Bethel Public Library.

Dean Ahlberg will share the fascinating and little-known side of the artist, including his early years, education, and family life; he reveals the surprising journey that ultimately led Vincent to his calling; and he offers a brief exploration into the mysterious circumstances surrounding the artist’s untimely death.

The lecture includes a visual presentation as well as suggestions for further reading.
The lecture is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
It is free to the public and appropriate for adults and for students Grades 9 and up.
