DANBURY — City police arrested a 21-year-old man on Maple Avenue on strangulation and drug charges early Friday.
Joshua Marcy, of Danbury, had been wanted on a warrant for charges including strangulation since a November incident. Police said Marcy choked a relative after an argument over money.
In addition to the warrant, Marcy faces drug charges stemming from prescription pills found on him during his arrest at about 2:30 Friday morning.
He was also served with several failure-to-appear warrants related to burglary charges.
He was held in a combined $22,500 bond.
