Club forms for Rainbow Loomers in Brookfield

|

The Rainbow Loom phenomena seems to be going strong – my friends’ children have created all kinds of things with their looms, and proud moms have posted pictures of the colorful results on Facebook.

Rainbow Looms are not just for bracelets - Molly has made many other things with hers.

If your kids are in Grades 2 to 5 and enjoy making things with Rainbow Looms, they might like to join the Brookfield Library’s Rainbow Loom club. It meets monthly, and the next meeting will be Saturday, March 1, from 10 to 10:45 a.m.

Here’s how the library staff describes the club:

In this class kids will learn a new pattern  and share their knowledge and enthusiasm with other kids. Whatever level of looming you are on, you can share what you know, or learn from a teammate. Please bring your own loom. Some rubber bands will be provided but supplies are limited.  Caregivers should stay in the building.

But be sure to register today (Thursday, Feb. 27) at www.brookfieldlibrary.org/event-information?ee=2034  or by calling 203-775-6241. Space is limited.
