Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday

|

Daylight Savings Time begins Sunday at 2 a.m.. Clocks spring forward by a hour.

Here is my annual crabby speech. When TV newscasters chirp  ‘We’re gaining an extra hour of daylight!”, they’re wrong. We’re adding an hour in the afternoon by taking away an hour in the morning.

The sun rise and the sun sets according to its cosmic schedules. We just adjust our clocks within the daylight hours The sun – at least for a few billion years -  is eternal. We just play around with human time.
