Three charged after Danbury burglary

DANBURY — Three people face a variety of charges after police responded to a report of a burglary in progresss at an Osborne Street residence late Sunday.

When police arrived just before 11:10 p.m., the victim reported that two males had just entered the residence.

Officers found the two men, both Danbury residents, hiding in the neighborhood, and a third person, a New Milford woman who had driven them there, a short distance away, department spokesman Lt. Chris Carroccio said.

Kevin Pereira, 20, and Javier Taveras, 25 of Danbury were both charged with first-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal mischief and interfering with police.

Kimberly Ramirez age 18 of New Milford, was charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, interfering with police and driving with a suspended license.

All were held on $25,000 bonds, police said.
