DANBURY — This week’s chill will not let up much today despite sunny skies leading into briefly warming temperatures joined by rain over the next few days.

After a high of 44 degrees today, temperatures could reach as high as 53 on Friday before dropping back down to 46 on Saturday and 44 on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

A slight chance of rain enters the forecast Friday morning and increases throughout Friday with a 70 percent chance of precipitation.

Rain may resume late Saturday afternoon and overnight into Sunday, lasting into Sunday night until clearing up by Monday morning, according to NWS.
