Full flower moon

|

moomThere will be a full moon on Wednesday, May 14. If the Old Farmer’s Almanac is right, Native Americans called it the full flower moon, because the spring flowers were out or the corn planting moon, because after a cold winter, it was time to put seed in the ground.

What’s nice about the moon this year is that i the planet Saturn will be nearby, just above the moon. Even a full moon, in full flower, won’t obscure it.
