Firefighters in Bethel have removed the driver from a car that rolled over and crashed into a utility pole on Route 302 this afternoon.

The crash at roughly 2:10 p.m. left the vehicle on its roof and snapped a utility pole at Dodgintown Road and Kellogg Street in two, according to reports from the scene.

About ten minutes later, firefighters reported one patient had been removed from the vehicle and put in the care of medics. It was not immediately clear if there were any injuries.
