Maplewood plans Ridgefield facility

Maplewood Senior Living, which owns facilities in Danbury, Bethel and Newtown  has signed a letter of intent  to build a 100-unit facility on nine acres Route 35 in Ridgefield..

The company, based in Westport, specializes in building and operating senior living facilities that have include units for people who need specialized memory care, including seniors with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. It has six centers in Connecticut, as well as facilities in Ohio,, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York.
