Free bus to fireworks show in Danbury

|

The owner of the Carvel store in the North Street shopping plaza in Danbury will once again offer free shuttle bus service to the fireworks display. The shuttle will run in a continuous loop from the store to Hatter’s Park from 6 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, June 28.
Todd Kozakwicz said that he began offering the service five years ago, after the city discontinued running shuttle buses for the fireworks display.
“I don’t think people realize it’s not the city doing it any more,” he said. “But I just wanted to give back to the community. We’ve been in Danbury for 42 years.”
