New Milford man facing prison time

NEW MILFORD — A 22-year-old local man is facing one year in prison on four violation of probation charges.

Donald Shaw, of Maple Street, New Milford was arrested Saturday on four warrants for violation of probation. He was held on $20,000 bond with an arraignment scheduled for Monday at Superior Court in Bantam.

Shaw had been sentenced in October 2013 to one year suspended sentence with three years of probation. The sentenced stemmed from various charges in 2011 incidents, including criminal trespass and fourth-degree larceny.
