Enjoy patriotic music and ice cream in Brookfield Saturday

Tom Callinan Photo with Flag BackgroundAn outdoor patriotic concert will be held in the formal gardens behind the Brookfield Historical Society, 165 Whisconier Road, at 7 p.m., Saturday, July 19.

Tom Callinan, Connecticut’s first Official State Troubadour through legislation by the General Assembly in 1991, will present a concert of patriotic songs spanning our country’s history. Continuing the commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, Callinan will feature some tunes and stories from that period. The program is tailored for all family members, young and old.
