Redding woman wants her horses back

|

Lisa Lind-Larsen, 75, had her two mustang horses seized last month, now she wants them back.

After Animal Control found her two horses emaciated and in unsanitary conditions the horses were taken and Lind-Larsen was charged with two counts of animal cruelty.

Since then she has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Now the Department of Agriculture has filed a civil action suit for Lind-Larsen’s seized property. Lind-Larsen has chosen to try to get her horses back by placing her statement to Hartford Superior Court.

She is due back in Hartford on September 4 for the civil action and September 15 in Danbury for her two criminal charges
