Unbelievable news from Storrs.
UConn cornerback Jasper Howard died Sunday after being stabbed on campus after a school-sponsored dance.
A 20-year-old native of Miami, Howard played in Saturday’s win over Louisville. He had 11 tackles and a forced fumble.
According to the school a fight and stabbing occurred near Hillside Roadd in the center of Storrs campus.
The perpetrator is still at large and police are actively investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact the UConn Police at 860-486-4800.
