Just got a press release from UConn.
The school announced that the NCAA Committee on Infractions has granted a second extension for UConn to file its response in the Nate Miles/Josh Nochimson matter.
The original due date for UConn’s report was Aug. 20. An initial extension pushed that back to Sept. 3.
Now the school, and all the parties accused (Jim Calhoun, Pat Sellers, Beau Archibald, etc.) have until Sept. 7 (Tuesday) to respond.
Although Tuesday is the date the documents must be filed, it seems the public may have to wait a while to review. UConn cited state laws and university guidelines, insisting the documents must be reviewed before being released to the media or public.
At some point in the future, UConn officials say, the information will be released and a press conference scheduled.
