The UConn football team provided its weekly injury report Thursday night, listing those players who could be limited for Saturday’s game against Texas Southern. As expected, LB Scott Lutrus’ name was on the list.
The senior from Brookfield is officially “out” for the game with an “upper extremity” injury. In all probability, a shoulder stinger.
Reserve running back Jonathan Jean-Louis is also out Saturday. He has a “torso” injury.
There are no other players on UConn’s list.
Jory Johnson is Lutrus’ backup and the likely starter at strong-side linebacker, now.
