UCONN basketball team was an embarassment this year and Calhoun needs to take the majority of the blame. He recurited the players who literally "gave up" the last part of the season. The only way they should accept an invitation to the NIT is if Calhoun plays the people who will be returning next year...............which by the way is not an NCAA winning team.

Yes I believe he'll be eligible but I'll be sure to ask during spring practice next week.

FYI, that was the short list on kick returners. Lang and others will get chances, too.

Forget Dyson All he did was sulk on the court the whole game. And forget about Calhoun ever again winning anything meaningful. He is delusional at best right now, thinking he will "discover" another great basketball player from Africa. Forget about Thabeet, the last "great one" who was pumped up by Calhoun's friends in the news media to the number two position in the NBA draft. When last seen, he was demoted to a minor league team because he is so awful at real basketball. How many eally good players come out of Africa? The latest ones on Uconn's team are truly bums. They never played AAU ball
or any other type of American basketball that prepares young guys for college. One of those guys is getting bald; he must be thirty.
I'm not being racist by writing this, but I have to wonder why the best players on Duke are both white kids who know hot to score points in bunches and play defense. After rooting for Uconn for over fifty years, it is now sad to see the game passing by coach Calhoun. Time for the NEW guy, whoever he might be to come onboard.

Any word on Mike Lang and if he'll be eligible to play come fall? I was looking at the kick returners you mentioned and there's no experience there besides Todman and I'm sure he can use a rest now that he'll be getting the bulk of the carries. I know Lang returned a kick for a TD last season and if he's able to play I would assume he gets thrown in the mix as a returner.

I talked to a source close to Stanley Robinson that said he might show up today and ball. Does that mean I can get a show like that jerk Carlin now?
