Nantz: It Will Be Colts-Pats In The AFC, Vikings-Cowboys In The NFC

by:

CBS Sports held its annual NFL media day this afternoon at its headquarters in Manhattan.

It has become an annual tradition for lead broadcaster and New Canaan resident Jim Nantz and I to make our picks in a column the week before the season opener.

Following my father’s advice that if you don’t talk (or write), people won’t know how stupid you really are, I am letting Nantz go it alone this year.

I taped his predictions, and rather than transcribe them into text form, I figured it would be easier to let you listen for yourselves.

I don’t disagree but let’s stay on point here. No more posts that don’t have to do with the teams or award!

    Dave,

If the Giants have any courage (which they do) they would CUT Brandon Jacobs today.

What a disgrace ! After a TD he is angry ??

Get rid of the cancer pronto …..High School kids don’t even behave like this animal.

    Dave,
Jim Nantz is one of my favorite all time broadcasters but he ought to think a little harder than this especially in the NFC ! He should stick to play by play …
Picking Peyton and Brady seems chalky but I actually don’t see either team making those games.

I will go with Jets – Ravens in the AFC And in the NFC I will go with Giants – Saints .

Let’s see how this works out and at some point I will tell you the Super Bowl winner. !!
