Valentine asking for help to raise money for Japan

by:

Bobby Valentine has been associated with a number of philanthropic causes. He has been moved now to do what he can to help Japan, where he lived for over five years as the manager of the Chiba Lotte Marines, in light of the human loss and suffering from the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear power plant catastrophe. Valentine is reaching out to the global community for assistance.

He sent me the following email:

Japan needs all the help it can get. Let’s work together and collaborate to make a positive impact in helping the victims. In order to accomplish this, we need to select carefully the NGOs that will get the funds to the appropriate people immediately. I am in the middle of conducting extensive research to identify NGOs that have a high level of commitment and that will make impact. People working with me want to make sure that the money raised will find the intended victims. It will take time for Japan to recover, and this will require both short term funding and long term aid. I am on a mission~! Let’s work together and help our friends in Japan. Thank you for your support and generosity.
