The Eagles won their first league title since 2005 by upsetting unbeaten Greenwich in the final.

The Rams rallied from a four-goal deficit to topple Ridgefield in the final.

The Blue Wave won their second straight league crown by holding off Westhill in the title game.

The Tigers swept Darien in the final to win their first-ever league title in the sport.

The Cardinals ended New Canaan’s two-year reign with a 5-2 victory in the championship match.

The Wreckers ended Danbury’s 11-year reign, winning their first outdoor title since 1990.

The voting is open until noon on Wednesday. So vote below and check back to find out who is this week’s Overtime FCIAC Team of the Week.

  1. Paul Cooke says:

The Ridgefield Volleyball team has all the makings of the Team of the Week: 1) winning for the first time EVER, 2) defeating the team who defeated the 10-year champs, 3) winning in three games, the last score being 25-15, 4) setting school records, and 5) being a total team effort with players getting honorable mention, second team, first team all-fciac, and mvp of the tournament.

  2. The Staples track team has all the makings of the Team of the Week: 1) winning for the first time in 22 years, 2) dethroning the 11-year champs, 3) winning by an astounding 65 points, 4) setting school records, and 5) being a total team effort with 18 athletes scoring points.
