Help Bassick High School win new uniforms in Under Armour contest

|

I got an email from Jay Purzycki, a social studies teacher at Bassick High School. Bassick is currently entered in a contest sponsored by Under Armour, in which, according to the page on the sports apparel company’s web site, “the winning school will receive $140,000 worth of the most innovative uniforms, apparel, footwear and accessories on the planet to outfit their athletic teams.”

The voting ends on Nov. 20, with the top four schools receiving the most support and four wild card schools, according to the Under Armour page, advancing to a head to head competition.

According to Bassick’s page in the contest, it is currently in 28th place (I could not find out how many schools are entered).

Bassick is asking for the support of everyone in the FCIAC. Here is the link to the Bassick page where you can become a supporter.

And here is the link on the Under Armour page explaining the contest.
