Final 8: Vote for the Overtime Team of the Week

We have eight teams coming off of strong performances on the menu for the Overtime FCIAC Team of the Week vote.

Your finalists are: the Darien boys hockey, St. Joseph boys hockey, New Canaan girls basketball, Greenwich girls basketball, Norwalk boys basketball, Danbury girls basketball, Bassick boys basketball and Wilton boys basketball teams.

The winner will get T-shirts with our new logo courtesy of BlueStreak Sports Training, Garden Catering, the Stamford Advocate, Karl Chevrolet, Innovative Health and Rehabilitation, New Balance of New Canaan, Riko’s Pizza, Mitchells/Richards, Bobby Valentine’s Sports Gallery Cafe, Voice of an Angel and Dr. Brown’s Baby Products.

The Blue Wave improved to 3-0-1 with a dramatic 5-4 win over Notre Dame-Fairfield.

The Cadets evened their record at 2-2 with a hard-fought 5-4 victory over Cheshire.

The Rams improved to 4-2 with a 52-36 victory over Staples.

Greenwich got its second win of the year with a 53-47 upset of Darien.

The Bears repeated as Masuk Holiday Tournament champions with wins over Masuk and Bunnell.

The Hatters improved to 8-0, capturing the News-Times Holiday Festival with wins over New Milford and Brewster.

The Lions are now 6-0 after winning the Kuczo Tournament by sweeping Westhill and Stamford.

The Warriors rebounded from an 0-3 start be defeating Newtown and then upsetting Kolbe Cathedral, 66-53.
