Super 9: Vote for the Overtime Team of the Week

We have nine teams coming off of strong performances on the menu for the Overtime FCIAC Team of the Week vote.

Your finalists are: the Staples boys indoor track, Darien girls indoor track, Trumbull gymnastics, Westhill girls basketball, Trinity Catholic girls basketball, Bridgeport Central boys basketball, Wilton girls basketball, Fairfield Ludlowe cheerleading and New Canaan boys hockey teams.

The winner will get our T-shirts and a plaque, courtesy of BlueStreak Sports Training, Garden Catering, the Stamford Advocate, Karl Chevrolet, Innovative Health and Rehabilitation, New Balance of New Canaan, Riko’s Pizza, Mitchells/Richards, Bobby Valentine’s Sports Gallery Cafe, Voice of an Angel and Dr. Brown’s Baby Products.

The Wreckers held off Danbury to capture the FCIAC championship.

The Blue Wave won seven of 15 events to dominate and win the FCIAC championship.

The Eagles scored 129.35 points to win a quad meet and improve to 10-2.

The Vikings defeated city rival Stamford and Greenwich to run their win streak to 11 games.

The Crusaders followed a key road win over Ridgefield with a victory against Brien McMahon.

The Hilltoppers defeated Greenwich and Ridgefield to improve to 10-3.

The Warriors defeated Brien McMahon and had a key win over Trumbull to extend their win streak to 12 games.

The Falcons won their second straight FCIAC title and third in the last four years.

The Rams shut out Greenwich, 3-0, and have won six of their last seven games.
