A new 9: Vote for the Overtime Team of the Week

teamoftheweekWe have nine teams coming off of strong performances on the menu for the Overtime FCIAC Team of the Week vote.

Your finalists are: the St. Joseph softball, Staples baseball, Greenwich boys lacrosse, Trumbull softball, Danbury baseball, Wilton girls lacrosse, New Canaan girls lacrosse, Ridgefield boys golf and Fairfield Ludlowe girls lacrosse teams.

The winner will get our T-shirts and a plaque, courtesy of BlueStreak Sports Training, Garden Catering, the Stamford Advocate, Karl Chevrolet, Innovative Health and Rehabilitation, Riko’s Pizza, Mitchells/Richards, Bobby Valentine’s Sports Gallery Cafe, Voice of an Angel and Dr. Brown’s Baby Products.

The Cadets’ 3-0 week was highlighted by a 7-0 win over Stamford.

The Wreckers swept Wilton, Westhill and Greenwich.

The Cardinals went 3-0, including a big 9-7 win over Darien.

The Eagles went 2-0, including a 9-0 win over Danbury.

The Hatters went 2-0, highlighted by a 5-2 victory over Trumbull.

The Warriors closed out the regular season with three wins by a combined 35-13 margin.

The Rams went 3-0, highlighted by a non-league win over Fox Lane.

The Tigers went 4-0 and set a school record by shooting a 146 against Danbury.

The Falcons went 2-0 and are now 6-0-1 in their past seven games.
