Barring an earthquake…St. Joes will easily win the FCIAC and the State Class M title.

St. Joes has the best overall team. They have great pitching, good defense and terrific hitting. They are by far the favorites.

Darien has the leagues best pitcher and she can shut down any team in the league

Westhill always finds a way of winning close games. The best hitting team in the league.

Stamford has the Robustelli factor and aggressive baserunning. They will be a tough out

Ludlowe has a complete team. Solid pitching and timely hitting.

New Canaan is a scary team to play. Senior dominated with good hitting and good pitching

Greenwich also has solid pitching and a good defense. Good power at the top of their lineup.

Danbury can outscore you and they don’t beat themselves. Good hitters.

Bottom line: St. Joes has the best team and should win.

Maybe Greenwich has scored 72 runs but against who?
Wilton, Warde, Trinity Catholic and Stamford…none have any pitching. When they put up those numbers against St Joe’s, New Canaan, Danbury, then that’s different. They haven’t faced a good pitcher yet except Ludlowe and they lost that one so Greenwich has not proven anything just yet. Good team but they need to beat some top teams first IMO.

72 runs in 7 games,And one of the better pitchers in the FCIAC and absolutely no respect for Greenwich Softball. 4 Games in and Danbury is gonna win the FCIAC????

I agree, a lot of big games this week. And unless a few of these teams prove to be early pretenders, we should be getting a lot of big games throughout the season.
