boswell seems to be over rated. hasnt had one big game yet. for someone who is getting recruited by big east schools he doesnt have a killer instinct. a combination of argosh-rankowitz scores more points than boswell-casmir.

1. How many college athletes do they have? doesn't matter what level
2. What is each of there graduation percentages?

Those two answers will determine the best coach. Wins and Losses in basketball with a league in which Trinity Catholic and St. Joe's recruits there kids and hardly any are from their respective towns, Trumbull or Stamford should be immiedately disqualified. These other coaches just work with what they have and they build programs, while Trinity and St. Joe's reload with new faces from different places.

So go beyond that, how many student athletes go on to play in college, and what is each coaches graduation percentage throughout their tenure...

@crew:"is there a better brother combo than the Racy's?"

YES, THE BRODERICK TWINS@STAMFORD...

Steidl is the man, especially since his senior guard captain seems to sulk at moments...but for Ridgefield to win, Jeff Racy must score in double figures...and

"then the most amazing thing happened: the Racy brothers took over the game and Ridgefield won 51-41"

ABSOLUTE NONSENSE---steidl scored 4/jeff made a shot... pat racy had a superb driving layup....but where was he in the opening 30 minutes?

Pat Racy's best 4 minutes? Charles is starting him based on potential... a 6-4 frosh who's averaging about 4-5 points a game, but his presence has regressed barton's game and capt. Hook aka Coach Charles underestimates the mind games he plays with his bench players....

rhs opened the game 10-2/closed it 10-0.... in between, it wasn't that the mustangs dominated, but rhs just played erratic and Wright did a decent job on Steidl until it mattered the most...

In spite of last night's rock-and-roll, Warde at Ridgefield game, which was nip-and-tuck and raised the roof, the best basketball duo is Steidl and anyone else.

Steidl is the best individual player at whichever position he happens to play, and he really excels at all five positions; if Yale gets him it would be the equal of Princeton getting Bradley.

Warde came closer to frustrating Steidl than I have ever seen, but Steidl was still the most spectacular player anyway.

Warde bit at Ridgefield's heels until Warde tied Ridgefield 41-41, and then the most amazing thing happened: the Racy brothers took over the game and Ridgefield won 51-41.

Junior Jeff Racy has been coming out of his shell and he is a scoring machine, so his production did not surprise me. Steidl and Jeff Racy is currently the best-of-the-best duo, as was predicted at the beginning of the season.

Freshman Pat Racy played the greatest four clutch minutes of his brief high school career.

Pat Racy resembles Eli Manning in appearance and quiet-killer temperment.

How come Rankowitz never gets any media attention? He single handedly keeps staples in every game. Against trinity he was the leading scorer in the game. against st. joes he scored 26, against westhill he scored 30 and was hardly mentioned in the post game write up. he is one of the best players in the fciac and gets no attention.

Von Kuhn deserves credit - he does what is necessary for the team and continues to be critical to their success. He may not be a natural PG but he has been impressive in leading his team which is a requirement of the PG. As for the comment about Charles, don't think it belongs on this thread but he was out-coached by Moriarty. He is given a ton of credit and deserves it but this last year, this year and next are probably the most talented team that the Tigers have had in their history. His legacy will be decided based on what he does during this time. As for the parents, can you tell me what high school gym you have been to where the parents don't think they know better? I have been to a few hundred and it is always the case - some much worse than the Tigers group.
