Here is the Connecticut Post’s story announcing that Fairfield-native J.J. Henry will be in as an alternate for the US Open, which starts on Thursday at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md.
Henry has not made the cut in the US Open since 2007 when he finished tied for 26th. That was Henry’s best finish at the Open, and his best at a major.
We’ll be following Henry’s rounds all weekend long, and will follow up with him as he makes his return to Connecticut for next week’s Travelers Championship.
