The banquet room at The Society room is quickly filling up with anxious supporters of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Dannel Malloy. Most say they are remaining cautiously optimistic and are crowding around available television screens to watch the results slowly roll in. Some are even taking the opportunity to break out a few new moves on the dance floor.
Roy Occhiogrosso, a senior advisor to the Malloy campaign, told reporters at about 9:15 p.m. that the candidate will not appear at the society room around 10 p.m. as planned, it could be much later, he said.
It looks like its going to be a late night.
