That’s the message from David Cappiello, McMahon’s campaign manager, to supporters here in Hartford.
Cappiello updated the crowd on the election results, telling them that McMahon is leading Blumenthal in the 4th and 5th congressional districts, losing big in the 1st and 3rd and trailing in the 2nd.
To give you an idea how poorly McMahon performed in Bridgeport, the seat of the 4th CD, Blumenthal got 1,000 votes to 80 for McMahon at one polling location, according to campaign sources.
McMahon is waiting for more numbers to come in from the 4th and 5th, where she is hoping a significant margin of victory will keep her in the race.
