Governor-elect returns home

Governor-elect Dan Malloy spends a Saturday morning at his home in Stamford walking his two Jack Russell Terrier’s, Zoe and Puck, and catching up on the past week’s newspapers.

I was informed late last night that Governor-elect Dan Malloy had agreed to be photographed this morning at his home in Stamford, after what probably has been months on the road.  It was pretty quiet when I drove down Ocean Dr. East and pulled up to the Malloy home.  A walker stopped as I was getting my gear out and asked “Are they going to sell it?” pointing to the beautifully refurbished barn where the Malloy family has lived for years.  I was unable to get a definite answer on the sale when I asked the Governor-elect but he did say “We’re moving to Hartford.”   I’m sure he has a to-do list a mile long but this morning, for thirty minutes at least, business was centered around walking his two dogs and trying to get his voice back after a bout of laryngitis.
