The House Republican caucus held a breakfast fund-raising event, $100-a-head and above, this morning in the Officer’s Club at the William A. O’Neill Armory. Once the session is gaveled at around 10 o’clock, lawmakers can no longer accept contributions until the end of the session June 8. House Democrats did their version of the event on Monday night. Tonight, the Democratic State Central Committee will have a $2,500-a-person event in the Old State House, featuring an appearance by Gov. Dannel Malloy.
