Wyman, introducing Sen. Beth Bye, D-Hartford, left the town of Burlington out of the list of the communities she represents. When told Burlington is in the list, Wyman glanced at her staff: “Somebody’s fired. Well, we had to cut down on those state employees anyway. Just kidding, state employees.”
